OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS.                         15th February 2026

1. The Lenten Season commences on Ash Wednesday, 18th February 2026. The Mass programme for the day is as follows:

       i.Ridgeways – 6.45 am, 1:00pm and 6:00 pm

       ii.Muringa - 5.30pm

       iii.Huruma - 5.30pm

       iv.Karura - 1:00pm

     The Priest’s Office will remain closed on that day.

2.The Ash Wednesday morning Mass (6.45 am) will be animated by the daily Mass group, Lunchtime Mass (1.00 pm) by CMA & CWA groups and the evening Mass (6:00 pm) by Liturgy committee, Ushers, Lectors groups.

3.We shall have a special collection during Ash Wednesday Mass; the collection is used to finance Justice and Peace activities at the Diocesan and National level. Kindly give generously.

4.The Way of the Cross is every Friday of Lent at 5.30 pm followed by Holy Mass. This coming Friday, (20/02/2026), it will be animated by the CWA Group.

5.During the forty days of lent we shall have “THE UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE” with daily Eucharistic adoration and guided reflections, every Monday to Friday (6 am-7 am) and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) (6.30 am-7.30 am) followed by Mass.

6.The Catholic Women Association (CWA) will have a luncheon with the Priest tomorrow, Monday 16th. The day’s program will begin with Holy Mass, followed by the luncheon thereafter. All CWA members are kindly requested to attend and keep time.

7.Infant Baptism will take place on Saturday; 7th March 2026 at 10:00 am here in the church. It will be preceded by 3 Baptismal instruction classes for the parents and godparents. The classes will begin on Saturday, 14th February 2026 at 2:00 pm in St. Maria Goretti Hall. Registration is ongoing at the Parish Tent or at the Parish Office

8.Kindly be informed that the 2026 Parish Calendars are still available. They are going for Ksh 250 only per copy.

9.The Masses for:

     a)St. Faustina SCC,

     b)St. Josephine Bakhita SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17th February, at 7:00 p.m.

10.The Masses for:

     a) St. Jude SCC,

     b)St. Stephen SCC,

     c)St. Mark the Evangelist SCC and

     d)St. Joachim SCC will be celebrated on Thursday, 19th February, at 7:00 p.m.

11.Home blessings for Our Lady of Fatima SCC will be held on Saturday, 21st February at 9:00 a.m.

  Today’s Mass has been animated by the Christ the King Choir. We are a dedicated group of men and women who serve the Lord through music for the greater glory of God. Our practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m., and on Sundays before and after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. If you are new to the parish or have been a member for some time, are aged 18 years and above, and feel called to serve God through music, you are warmly invited to join us. For more information, kindly visit the tent outside the Church.

OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS. 13th/08/2023

1. On the first and second Sundays of the month, we usually offer our tithe to the Lord. Today being the second Sunday of August, You are invited to make your offering, by bringing your tithe envelopes to the Sanctuary for blessings. Our Parish Tithe Mpesa Pay bill No. is 867165.


2. Tuesday 15th August 2023 is the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We are encouraged to participate in mass celebrations. Being a weekday, there will be mass in church as usual (at 7 am and 6 pm)


3. The Parish retreat with prayers of healing and deliverance will be starting this Thursday, 17th to Saturday 19th August 2023 led by Fr James Burasa. The retreat will start at 9 am and end with mass at 4 pm. All are welcome.


4. Infant Baptisms will take place on Saturday, 16th September 2023, at 10.00 am. It will be preceded by 3 Baptismal instruction classes for the Parents and godparents. Kindly register at the Parish tent, all other details are in the registration form. Classes will begin on 26th August 2023, at 2.00 pm at St. Maria Goretti Hall.


5. “Parents with infants are reminded we have a special room for them at Aula Santa Maria building, ground floor, “Mother of God” room. Kindly make use of the room.


6. “Marriage Encounter of OLRCC is pleased to announce that the Archdiocese of Nairobi will be holding a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Original Weekend on September 1-3, 2023 for married couples and religious at the St. Francis Spiritual Center, Kasarani. If interested in participating kindly visit the tent outside the Church for more details and registration.


7. The Catholic Women Association (CWA) will hold their monthly meeting next Sunday, 20th August 2023 after the 8.00 am Mass.


8. First Holy Communion for those who have been attending Catechism classes since April last year will be administered next Sunday, 20/8/2023. The preparation schedule is as follows:


Candidates in Day Schools(who have been attending Catechism classes on Sundays) will meet on 13th August at 10 am

· Will come for the exam on Friday 18/8/2023 at 8.30 am

· Will come for confessions on Saturday 19/8/2023 at 8.30 am

Candidates in Boarding Schools

· Will come for classes from tomorrow Monday, 14/8/2023 to Thursday 17/8/2023 starting from 9 am to 1 pm.

· Will come for the exam on Friday 18/8/2023 at 9 am

· Will come for Confessions on Saturday 19/8/2023 at 9 am



The candidates to be baptized will be baptized on Saturday 19/8/2023. They will come with their parents and godparents



9. Today we have Fr Dennis Atandi with us together with some Seminarians from his congregation: The congregation of the Camillians also referred to as servants of the sick. They work in hospitals, parishes, children's homes, chaplaincies and disaster response. They have some merchandise that they wish to sell to us in support of the formation of Seminarians. Kindly support them.

11. Mass for Divine Mercy Group will be celebrated on Wednesday 16th August 2023, at 6.30 pm


12. Mass for St. Jude SCC will be celebrated on Thursday 17th August 2023, at 7.00 pm.


13. Mass for St. Stephen SCC will be celebrated on Thursday 17th August 2023, at 7.00 pm.


14. Mass for St. Bridgit Daughters of Christ will be celebrated on Friday 18th August 2023, at 5.30 pm.


15. Mass for Youth group will be celebrated on Friday 18th August 2023, at 7.00 pm.
