OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS.                         15th February 2026

1. The Lenten Season commences on Ash Wednesday, 18th February 2026. The Mass programme for the day is as follows:

       i.Ridgeways – 6.45 am, 1:00pm and 6:00 pm

       ii.Muringa - 5.30pm

       iii.Huruma - 5.30pm

       iv.Karura - 1:00pm

     The Priest’s Office will remain closed on that day.

2.The Ash Wednesday morning Mass (6.45 am) will be animated by the daily Mass group, Lunchtime Mass (1.00 pm) by CMA & CWA groups and the evening Mass (6:00 pm) by Liturgy committee, Ushers, Lectors groups.

3.We shall have a special collection during Ash Wednesday Mass; the collection is used to finance Justice and Peace activities at the Diocesan and National level. Kindly give generously.

4.The Way of the Cross is every Friday of Lent at 5.30 pm followed by Holy Mass. This coming Friday, (20/02/2026), it will be animated by the CWA Group.

5.During the forty days of lent we shall have “THE UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE” with daily Eucharistic adoration and guided reflections, every Monday to Friday (6 am-7 am) and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) (6.30 am-7.30 am) followed by Mass.

6.The Catholic Women Association (CWA) will have a luncheon with the Priest tomorrow, Monday 16th. The day’s program will begin with Holy Mass, followed by the luncheon thereafter. All CWA members are kindly requested to attend and keep time.

7.Infant Baptism will take place on Saturday; 7th March 2026 at 10:00 am here in the church. It will be preceded by 3 Baptismal instruction classes for the parents and godparents. The classes will begin on Saturday, 14th February 2026 at 2:00 pm in St. Maria Goretti Hall. Registration is ongoing at the Parish Tent or at the Parish Office

8.Kindly be informed that the 2026 Parish Calendars are still available. They are going for Ksh 250 only per copy.

9.The Masses for:

     a)St. Faustina SCC,

     b)St. Josephine Bakhita SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17th February, at 7:00 p.m.

10.The Masses for:

     a) St. Jude SCC,

     b)St. Stephen SCC,

     c)St. Mark the Evangelist SCC and

     d)St. Joachim SCC will be celebrated on Thursday, 19th February, at 7:00 p.m.

11.Home blessings for Our Lady of Fatima SCC will be held on Saturday, 21st February at 9:00 a.m.

  Today’s Mass has been animated by the Christ the King Choir. We are a dedicated group of men and women who serve the Lord through music for the greater glory of God. Our practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m., and on Sundays before and after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. If you are new to the parish or have been a member for some time, are aged 18 years and above, and feel called to serve God through music, you are warmly invited to join us. For more information, kindly visit the tent outside the Church.

OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS.           13th October 2024


1. On the first and second Sundays of the month, we usually offer our tithe to the Lord. Today being the second Sunday, you are invited to make your offering by bringing your tithe envelopes to the Sanctuary for blessings. Our Parish Tithe Mpesa Pay bill No. is 867165. Choir kindly give us a hymn. 

2. October is the month of Rosary. We are all encouraged to pray the Rosary in our homes, in Small Christian Communities and as individuals. 

3. Next Sunday, 20th October 2024 is Mission Sunday, we shall have a 2nd collection which assists the Holy Father in the construction of new Churches, houses of formation especially in the mission land. 

4. The Young Couples Group will have their formation sessions on Friday, 25th October 2024, from 6:00p.m-8:00pm The topic to be discussed will be on Parenting Children ages 0 - 12 years.   The session will be facilitated by Dr. Carol Chakua. These sessions are intended for couples who have been together for 15 years and below. The venue will be shared on the Young Couples' WhatsApp group. Couples who would like to participate in this formation session but are not members of the group are kindly requested to leave their details at the desk outside the church.

5. The Comboni Sisters invite you to support the Kariobangi Women Promotion Institute, run by the Comboni Missionary Sisters.  They will be with us next Saturday 19th 2024 to  sell their products during the family day celebrations. Kindly support them.

6. KK Opticians will have a free eye check up here in the church next Saturday 19th October 2024 during the family day celebrations.

7. FAMILY DAY.

A. Our Parish Family day will be celebrated on Saturday 19th October here at the Parish.

His Lordship Bishop Willybard Kitogho Lagho of Malindi will  preside over this celebration.

Let us come together as one Family to give God thanks for His Faithfulness. Lunch will be served in a dome tent at the rear parking after Mass. There will be lots of entertainment for the whole family.

B. The dress code of the day is Ecclesial groups and Jumuiya uniforms.

Kindly be seated by 9:00am. The procession will begin at 9:30am and Holy Mass  at 10:00am. 

C. Parking and Security.

The Parish security committee has put in place security and parking arrangements to ensure an enjoyable celebration for us all.

Parking will be available inside Ciata Mall, behind Ciata Mall all the way to horseshoe village, The Yard, The church parking on Kiambu road and inside Runda at evergreen. KK guards and the Kenya police will be at hand to coordinate the smooth flow of traffic. Please follow their direction. 

D. Donations 

As is our custom during Family day celebrations, we normally have a Charity drive to support the needy in our community.

This year, every Jumuiya has been given an allocation of food items to donate. Please ensure that the items are delivered by Thursday 17th October at Blessed Irene Hall. God bless you as you give.

8. Mass for St. Bridget daughters of Christ will be celebrated on Tuesday 15th October 2024, at 5.30pm.

9. Mass for St. Faustina SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday 15th October 2024, at 7.00pm.

10. Mass for Divine Mercy Group will be celebrated on Wednesday 16th October 2024, at 5.30pm.

11. Mass for St. Jude SCC will be celebrated on Thursday 17th October 2024, at 7.00pm.

12. Mass for St. Stephen SCC will be celebrated on Thursday 17th October 2024, at 7.00pm.

13. Mass for St. Mark the Evangelist SCC will be celebrated on Thursday 17th October 2024, at 7.00pm.
