OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS.                         15th February 2026

1. The Lenten Season commences on Ash Wednesday, 18th February 2026. The Mass programme for the day is as follows:

       i.Ridgeways – 6.45 am, 1:00pm and 6:00 pm

       ii.Muringa - 5.30pm

       iii.Huruma - 5.30pm

       iv.Karura - 1:00pm

     The Priest’s Office will remain closed on that day.

2.The Ash Wednesday morning Mass (6.45 am) will be animated by the daily Mass group, Lunchtime Mass (1.00 pm) by CMA & CWA groups and the evening Mass (6:00 pm) by Liturgy committee, Ushers, Lectors groups.

3.We shall have a special collection during Ash Wednesday Mass; the collection is used to finance Justice and Peace activities at the Diocesan and National level. Kindly give generously.

4.The Way of the Cross is every Friday of Lent at 5.30 pm followed by Holy Mass. This coming Friday, (20/02/2026), it will be animated by the CWA Group.

5.During the forty days of lent we shall have “THE UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE” with daily Eucharistic adoration and guided reflections, every Monday to Friday (6 am-7 am) and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) (6.30 am-7.30 am) followed by Mass.

6.The Catholic Women Association (CWA) will have a luncheon with the Priest tomorrow, Monday 16th. The day’s program will begin with Holy Mass, followed by the luncheon thereafter. All CWA members are kindly requested to attend and keep time.

7.Infant Baptism will take place on Saturday; 7th March 2026 at 10:00 am here in the church. It will be preceded by 3 Baptismal instruction classes for the parents and godparents. The classes will begin on Saturday, 14th February 2026 at 2:00 pm in St. Maria Goretti Hall. Registration is ongoing at the Parish Tent or at the Parish Office

8.Kindly be informed that the 2026 Parish Calendars are still available. They are going for Ksh 250 only per copy.

9.The Masses for:

     a)St. Faustina SCC,

     b)St. Josephine Bakhita SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17th February, at 7:00 p.m.

10.The Masses for:

     a) St. Jude SCC,

     b)St. Stephen SCC,

     c)St. Mark the Evangelist SCC and

     d)St. Joachim SCC will be celebrated on Thursday, 19th February, at 7:00 p.m.

11.Home blessings for Our Lady of Fatima SCC will be held on Saturday, 21st February at 9:00 a.m.

  Today’s Mass has been animated by the Christ the King Choir. We are a dedicated group of men and women who serve the Lord through music for the greater glory of God. Our practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m., and on Sundays before and after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. If you are new to the parish or have been a member for some time, are aged 18 years and above, and feel called to serve God through music, you are warmly invited to join us. For more information, kindly visit the tent outside the Church.

OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS.             27th October 2024


1.Every First and Second Sunday of the month, we normally offer our tithe to the Lord. Next Sunday, 3rd November 2024, will be the first Tithe Sunday. We will present our tithe at the Sanctuary for blessings. Tithe envelopes are available in the tithe boxes at the Church pillars and at the Church Tent. Our Parish Tithe Mpesa Paybill Number is 867165.


2.     Friday, 1st November 2024, is the Solemnity of ALL SAINTS. It’s a holy day of obligation for all Catholics. We shall have two Masses; the first one at 6.00 am with Eucharistic Adoration and Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus followed by Holy Mass at 7.00am and confessions after Mass.  The second one will be in the evening at 6.00 pm.

3.     The commemoration of “All the Faithful Departed” day is on Saturday, 2nd November 2024. Mass will be at 7.30 a.m followed by Eucharistic Adoration.

4.    The month of November is dedicated for prayers for the souls of all our departed faithful. Christians are therefore encouraged to pray, perform works of mercy, do penance and book Mass intentions for the salvation of their souls.

v  Kindly pick an envelope marked “Departed Faithful” from the Church pillars, write the names of the departed faithful, put your offering and drop them in the “Departed Faithful” box at the sanctuary. (You can also use the Mpesa Paybill No. 684456).

5.     There will be a seminar open to ALL parishioners on Saturday 9th Nov. 2024 from 9am - 12noon.  The topic will be Parenting Children aged 13 - 22 years.  Those interested in attending can register at the tent outside the church or at the Parish office.  Kindly if you register ensure you attend since the parish uses the numbers in the registration list to order for refreshments. 

6.    Marriage Encounter

a.     The Archdiocese of Nairobi family life department would like to announce the original Marriage Encounter November weekend will be carried out from 8th to 10th of November 2024 at St Francis Spiritual Center(Kasarani).Concepts that are learned on a Marriage Encounter weekend are ongoing tools to help keep a marriage strong while creating a conducive environment for parenting. We encourage couples to register at the tent outside for the upcoming November Weekend.

7.     Catechism registration for Children’s and Adult’s classes for Baptism, 1st Holy Communion and confirmation starts today at the tent outside the church. Classes will take place every Sunday at 10.00am and 12.00pm respectively. The Fr. In charge would like to meet the parents of registered children on 17th November 2024 after the 10:00 am Mass at St. Monica Hall. Classes will begin on 11th November 2024.

8.    Marriage Banns: for the Second time. We announce the marriage between Mike Kagwima and Christine Njeri. Mike is the son to Elias Muigai Kagwima and Perpetual Nyakenywa Muigai. Christine is the daughter James Muchiru Kinaga and Lucy Wanjiru Kinaga

9.    Marriage Banns: for the Second time. We announce the marriage between Henry Kpsambu and Pamela Kawira Riungu. Henry  is the son Kipsambu Kibosiken and Sally Chelegat. Pamella is the daughter silvano Riungu and Eunice Kagendo.


Should there be any reason that the above should not wed, do not hesitate to consult the Father in Charge.
