OLRCP ANNOUNCEMENTS. 15th February 2026

1. The Lenten Season commences on Ash Wednesday, 18th February 2026. The Mass programme for the day is as follows:

i.Ridgeways – 6.45 am, 1:00pm and 6:00 pm

ii.Muringa - 5.30pm

iii.Huruma - 5.30pm

iv.Karura - 1:00pm

The Priest’s Office will remain closed on that day.

2.The Ash Wednesday morning Mass (6.45 am) will be animated by the daily Mass group, Lunchtime Mass (1.00 pm) by CMA & CWA groups and the evening Mass (6:00 pm) by Liturgy committee, Ushers, Lectors groups.

3.We shall have a special collection during Ash Wednesday Mass; the collection is used to finance Justice and Peace activities at the Diocesan and National level. Kindly give generously.

4.The Way of the Cross is every Friday of Lent at 5.30 pm followed by Holy Mass. This coming Friday, (20/02/2026), it will be animated by the CWA Group.

5.During the forty days of lent we shall have “THE UPPER ROOM EXPERIENCE” with daily Eucharistic adoration and guided reflections, every Monday to Friday (6 am-7 am) and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) (6.30 am-7.30 am) followed by Mass.

6.The Catholic Women Association (CWA) will have a luncheon with the Priest tomorrow, Monday 16th. The day’s program will begin with Holy Mass, followed by the luncheon thereafter. All CWA members are kindly requested to attend and keep time.

7.Infant Baptism will take place on Saturday; 7th March 2026 at 10:00 am here in the church. It will be preceded by 3 Baptismal instruction classes for the parents and godparents. The classes will begin on Saturday, 14th February 2026 at 2:00 pm in St. Maria Goretti Hall. Registration is ongoing at the Parish Tent or at the Parish Office

8.Kindly be informed that the 2026 Parish Calendars are still available. They are going for Ksh 250 only per copy.

9.The Masses for:

a)St. Faustina SCC,

b)St. Josephine Bakhita SCC will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17th February, at 7:00 p.m.

10.The Masses for:

a) St. Jude SCC,

b)St. Stephen SCC,

c)St. Mark the Evangelist SCC and

d)St. Joachim SCC will be celebrated on Thursday, 19th February, at 7:00 p.m.

11.Home blessings for Our Lady of Fatima SCC will be held on Saturday, 21st February at 9:00 a.m.

Today’s Mass has been animated by the Christ the King Choir. We are a dedicated group of men and women who serve the Lord through music for the greater glory of God. Our practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m., and on Sundays before and after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. If you are new to the parish or have been a member for some time, are aged 18 years and above, and feel called to serve God through music, you are warmly invited to join us. 27th November 2022

1. Every First and Second Sunday of the month, we normally offer our tithe to the Lord. Next Sunday, 4th December 2022, will be the first Tithe Sunday, we will present our tithe to the Sanctuary for blessings. Our Parish Tithe Mpesa paybill no is 867165.

2. As from tomorrow, Monday 28th November 2022 we will have Church renovation for 3days up to Wednesday 30th November 2022. The morning and evening masses (Monday – Wednesday) will be held at St. Maria Goretti Hall downstairs. Sorry for inconveniences.

3. Friday 2nd December 2022 is the 1st Friday of the month, we will have Eucharistic Adoration at 6.00 am followed by mass.

4. All the youth of the parish are invited to the Deanery Family Day on 3rd December 2022. Kindly register at the tent outside or with the youth leaders.

5. According to our Parish renewal programme, this month we pray for the Renewal of our vision in heaven, All Saints and All souls.

6. As part of the proposed theme for December, “Renewing our Hope and Anticipation,” we are inviting you for a 2 days retreat on 9th & 10th December 2022 at our Church. Fr. James Burasa will facilitate. For more information kindly visit the Parish tent.

7. Formation class one (1) and formation class two (2) for CWA will begin on 8th January 2023. Kindly register at the Parish Tent or the Parish Office.

8. Mass for St. Ephrem Choir will be on Thursday, 01/12/2022, at 7.00pm.

9. End of the year Mass for St. Joseph Small Christian community will be on Friday, 02/12/2022, at 3.00pm.

10. Mass for St. Peter the Rock Small Christian community will be on Friday, 02/12/2022, at 7.00pm.

11. End of the year Mass for St. Jude Small Christian community will be on Saturday, 03/12/2022, at 9.00am.

12. End of the year Mass for Blessed Irene Nyaatha Small Christian community will be on Saturday, 03/12/2022, at 2.00pm.

13. End of the year Mass for Mary Help of Christian Small Christian community will be on sunday, 04/12/2022, at 10.00am.

14. Marriage Banns: for the Second time. We announce marriage between Timothy Waiyaki Gachuchu and Ruth Muthoni Mwaura. Timothy is son to Elizabeth Wanjiku Hinga and the late John Njenga Gachuchu. Ruth is daughter to David Mwaura Irari and Sarah Muthoni Mwaura.

15. Marriage Banns: for the Second time. We announce marriage between Thomas Kerioh Asango and Margaret Njoki. Thomas is son to Paul Kerioh Gichana and Isabella Bosibori Kerioh. Margaret is daughter to Benard Kabuti Njuguna and Anne Kabuti Wanjiru

16. Marriage Banns: for the Second time. We announce marriage between David Ndung’u and Joan Wairimu. David is son to John Njuguna and Pauline Wanjiku. Joan is daughter to the late Rosemary Wanjiru Gicheru.
